Who is eligible to participate in the 100M World Championship in 2024?
The 100M race will only be available to qualified athletes racing at the Pro level. There will not be any Age Group races in 2024.
How can athletes qualify for the 100M races?
Athletes may qualify in the following manner(s):
- Top 5 Finish - Sprint within a National Series Pro heat in 2024: Athletes who finish within the top 5 in a Sprint race within a National Series Pro heat in 2024 will qualify for the 100M races.
- Top 5 Finish - 2023 3K Elite Series (3K EU Madrid, 3K Series NORAM, 3K Series PH): Athletes who achieved a top 5 finish in the 2023 3K Elite Series, including events such as 3K EU Madrid, 3K Series NORAM, and 3K Series PH, will qualify for the 100M races.
- Wildcard invites at the discretion of Spartan HQ: Spartan HQ reserves the right to extend wildcard invites to athletes based on their discretion.
- Applications possible (Details will be shared soon): Additional details regarding the application process for qualification will be shared soon. Athletes may have the opportunity to apply for qualification through specified channels.
- Nominations via OCR National Federations: National Federations have the opportunity to nominate athletes to compete in the Spartan Race 100M Championship by submitting a nomination form to Spartan Race. Applications will be reviewed by Spartan, and all those accepted will receive an email invitation to enter. Please contact your OCR National Federation for further details on nominations.
Will there be any exceptions to the qualification requirements?
Wildcard invites may be extended at the discretion of Spartan HQ, providing an opportunity for exceptional athletes who may not have met the specified qualification criteria.

Can athletes who have previously competed in Spartan races but not at the Pro level qualify for the 100M races?
